Yesterday Selena Gomez posted a photo of herself emerged in water, looking quite sultry. According to the singer this will be a scene in her new music video for "Come and Get It," the lead single off her upcoming fourth album.

She tweeted:

"The reason why I wanted this to be the first single was because it exudes, like I said earlier, confidence and strength and that is something I'm willing to share with the world," Selena recently told Ryan Seacrest.

Judging by the photo, we definitely think that Selena is going to showcase the more grown up and confident side of herself.

The pop star will premiere her video for the track on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:53 pm ET on MTV. Will you be tuning in?

After years of slamming Justin Bieber and his fans on Twitter, it seems like Drake Bell may finally be calling a truce. The actor, who is currently appearing on the reality TV diving competition Splash, recently posted a pic of himself proudly sporting a purple "Bieber Fever" hat. The caption on the photo read, "Leaving dive practice."

This picture comes as a surprise since Drake has been taking quite a few jabs at Justin's fans lately. Re-igniting the fire early this week after declaring a "moratorium" on Belieber tweets on April 8th, the Nickelodeon star posted the following:

Is Drake only picking on Justin to get a reaction out of his Beliebers? The Drake & Josh actor has said that he doesn't "hate" Justin at all -- that it's his fans who are the problem. Considering the long history of this Twitter feud, we find that kind of hard to believe.

But we're hopeful. Maybe Drake's "Bieber Fever" hat is the start of a new beginning, and the actor will back off of Justin -- and his fans -- for good this time!

One Direction sure knows how to bring on the Twitter LOLs! After David Beckham announced that he'll be playing his final game for the Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS Cup next month, British journalist and television host Piers Morgan voiced his opinions about the soccer star's decision on Twitter this morning. "No serious top flight team would sign Beckham for football reasons any more -- he should retire gracefully," Piers Tweeted.

But little did Piers know, he'd insulted some One Direction soccer super-fans with his snippy comment! One Direction band members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne quickly fired back at Piers and as the conversation heated up, the dialogue became even more hilarious with Piers suggesting that the boys should sign Beckham to their group because "he sings better than he plays now."

Harry, Louis, and Liam kept the Twitter interaction going, even dragging in former 'X Factor UK' mentor Simon Cowell to help them win the Twitter war. "Hiiii @SimonCowell can you tell @piersmorgan to leave us alone please? He's being nasty..." Harry Tweeted.

And 1D fans were quick to defend their favorite boy band as they, too, hurled comments at Piers via Twitter, hashtagging #PiersMorganIsSmelly which the 1D boys started. (Thankfully Piers took his LOL-worthy trending topic with a smile!)

In a last ditch effort to save himself, Piers tried to embarrass Harry and the guys by posting a link to an article featuring photos of 1D during their school days. "Oops," Piers Tweeted along with the link. "Oops," Liam fired back, with a photo of One Direction meeting the Queen of England!

After 'The X Factor' host Mario Lopez caught Taylor Swift and Harry Styles "holding hands" on the show's set last week, fans sounded off across the internet -- and not all are thrilled at the idea of the two pop stars dating. In fact, some haters have gone so far as to Tweet scary death threats at Taylor for taking Harry off the market.

One user Tweeted, "If u dating my Harry, I kill u,' and another added, "I'll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry." Cruel Twitter comments are a constant problem for stars in the spotlight -- Danielle Peazer is rumored to have ended her relationship with 1D's Liam Payne over constant online haters and Zayn Malik briefly quit Twitter when the onslaught of attacks became too much.

But Taylor refuses to let the haters get to her. "The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard," she says."You have to forget about what everyone else thinks. It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I'll talk myself out of it."

Just two days ago, One Direction singer Zayn Malik announced that he was shutting down his Twitter account. "The reason i don't tweet as much as i use to, is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :)," he explained. But, he couldn't stay away from his fans for too long. After a 48 hour break, Zayn is back! "Sorry, I was getting some abuse on Twitter but I don't want to let my fans down. So I am back!! :) x," he Tweeted.

Zayn's departure made many fans extremely upset and sparked Twitter trends like #ComeBackZayn and #ZaynComeBack in an attempt to get the singer back online -- and it obviously worked! Zayn was greeted with immediate gratitude and praise from his fans following his return. "Thanks for all your messages of support. I really do love all you guys, your support never ceases 2 amaze me xxx," he Tweeted. We knew you'd come back to us Zayn!

One Direction's Zayn Malik shocked his more than 5 million followers on Tuesday night, August 21, when he abruptly deleted his Twitter account, @zaynmalik.

"The reason I don't Tweet as much as I used to is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily goodbye Twitter :)" Zayn wrote before signing off for good. "My fans that have something nice to say can tweet me on the One Direction account :) x"

Heartbroken fans quickly made #ComeBackZayn a worldwide trending topic on Twitter and urged him to rethink his decision.

Other stars like Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus have sworn off Twitter in the past, only to reactivate their accounts months later. But, for now at least, @zaynmalik remains deleted.

While London is gearing up to host the 2012 Olympics, British pop star Olly Murs is preparing his own version of the Games -- the 'Olly-mpics'! He'll take on his fellow band mates in some fierce and silly competitions, which are all suggested by his fans on Twitter!

Things got competitive when the "Heart Skips a Beat" singer challenged his band members to a game of table tennis. "It becomes close at a certain point and then you have to watch it. It comes down to an epic finale. It's like a TV series," Olly says.

The results? Let's just say Olly didn't take home the gold medal! "I did not win, which is pretty shameful, but you need to watch the rest. It's quite fun," Olly reveals.

On Tuesday, Justin Tweeted out three of Madison's YouTube music videos to the world. "Wow. 13 years old! She can sing. Great job. #futurestar," Justin said. "This is how I got started. Love it." He even Tweeted her mash-up of Bruno Mars songs to Bruno himself, saying, "You've got to see this!" and forwarded her mash-up of "Boyfriend" and "Call Me Maybe" to Carly Rae Jepsen -- who now follows Madison on Twitter.

"Thank you so much for Tweeting me," Madison replied to Justin. "My head is spinning. I can't believe this is happening and I really want you all to know that I am so grateful," she added Wednesday morning.

Lady Gaga is no stranger to setting records, and now she's done it again! The pop star gained her 20 millionth follower on Twitter over the weekend, making her the first user in the history of the site to reach that milestone number.

But Gaga will have to fight to hold on to her Twitter title -- hot on her heels are Justin Bieber with 18.1 million followers, Katy Perry with 15.7 million, Shakira at 14.7 million, and Rihanna at 14.5 million.
