Little by little, more details are emerging about 2012's most highly-anticipated movie, The Hunger Games. Fans have already been given a glimpse into the world of Panem with movie stills of Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), and Liam Hemsworth (Gale). And now the official character movie posters have been released, which includes not only posters of Jennifer, Josh, and Liam, but also of Rue (Amanda Stenberg), Cato (Alexander Ludwig), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Effie (Elizabeth Banks), and Cinna (Lenny Kravitz).

As The Hunger Games movie stills and details are slowly leaked in anticipation of the first movie, which comes out on March 23, 2012, fans of the trilogy have something else to get excited about: Lionsgate has announced the release date of the second movie, Catching Fire.

"The magical thing about The Hunger Games trilogy is that the books have such a vastly broad appeal," says Joe Drake, co-COO of Lionsgate. "The stories truly offer something for everyone."

Catching Fire is a continuation of the epic love triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale, played by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, as they fight for survival in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Catching Fire is set to hit theaters on November 23, 2013.

After debuting the film's first motion poster last month, Lionsgate has just released two new official photos from The Hunger Games set!

The first photo shows Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and her best friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth) crouching in the woods on a hunt, while the second pic shows Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) clutching burnt bread and standing solemnly in front of his family's bakery in District 12.

The movie, in which kids have to fight to the death on national TV, sees Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) caught in a love triangle between her fellow competitor Peeta (Josh) and her lifelong BFF Gale (Liam). But in real life, there's no rivalry between the two hotties. "I think it's going to blow people's minds when they see that Peeta and Gale are actually best friends in real life," Josh says. Josh even brought Liam home to spend a weekend with his family in Kentucky while they were filming!

The Hunger Games is set for release March 23.
