Simple Plan teamed up with "Unwritten" singer Natasha Bedingfield for their newest video, "Jet Lag," off of their upcoming album, Get Your Heart On!, out June 21.

J-14 is scouting out the hottest bands around... and this week's pick is the return of an old favorite band, Simple Plan.

Here are five things you need to know about Simple Plan, whose fourth album will hit stores on June 21.

1. Simple Plan's lead singer Pierre Bouvier and drummer Chuck Comeau started the band Reset when they were just 13 years old. Chuck left Reset -- and eventually started a band with his high school classmates guitarists Sebastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco. Pierre soon joined them to start Simple Plan and bassist David Desrosiers took Pierre's place in Reset. But David soon joined Simple Plan too -- and the fivesome have been rocking out together ever since.

2. The premise of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's 2004 movie New York Minute is all about getting to a Simple Plan concert. The guys all appeared in the movie -- and got to know the Olsens!

You know Simple Plan for their rock-pop hits like "Welcome to My Life," "Untitled," "Perfect," "Addicted," and "When I'm Gone" -- and today the band's frontman, Pierre Bouvier, is celebrating his birthday! The band is currently in the studio recording a new album.

Fun Facts About Simple Plan's Pierre:
- Pierre and his bandmates are from Montreal, Canada, and all speak French fluently. In fact, if you catch them chatting among themselves, it's likely en francais (and totally swoon-worthy)!
- He recently sang in Canada's Young Artists for Haiti's "Wavin' Flag" video with Justin Bieber.
- Pierre's brother, Jay, is a cancer survivor -- and inspired the band's "Save You" music video featuring cancer survivors of all ages. Read more about Pierre helping his brother's cancer in the current issue of J-14, on stands now.
- One of Pierre's fave TV show is The Family Guy.
- Simple Plan sang at the Winter Olympics' closing ceremony earlier this year.

Justin Bieber has already reached out to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake in numerous ways -- and now he's also part of his native country's Young Artists for Haiti. The group is made up of more than 50 Canadian artists who banded together to sing the song "Wavin' Flag" to help the children, families, and communities in Haiti.

Along with Justin are other Canadian artists, including Avril Lavigne, Sum 41's (and Avril's ex) Deryck Whibley, Drake, and Simple Plan's Pierre Bouvier, Marianas Trench's Josh Ramsay, Hedley's Jacob Hoggard, Fefe Dobson, Nelly Furtado, Nikki Yanofsky, Justin Nozuka, and more.
