J-14 Exclusive: Q&A with iCarly's Noah Munck About New Episode "iGo One Direction"

OneDirectioniCarly2.jpg J-14 was so excited to catch up with one of our favorite iCarly characters, Gibby, played by the always hilarious Noah Munck -- especially with the brand new episode "iGo One Direction" airing Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. EST! We couldn't resist asking Noah everything about working with One Direction and lucky for us, he was happy to dish tons of details about the brand new episode, including what the guys are really like when the cameras aren't rolling, and even fill us in on what it's like to be a member of the band!

J-14: Tell us all about how your character, Gibby, becomes a part of One Direction? We heard you even sing "What Makes You Beautiful" with the guys in the new episode!
Noah Munck: Well, Harry Styles gets sick with jungle worms, it's called, and I step in as the new lead singer of One Direction. I was actually a fan of One Direction before they came on the show, so it was pretty cool to film that. They told me, specifically, to sing terribly. That was my instruction.

J-14: Did you have any tips for them since it was their first time acting on TV?
Noah: The cast was all planning to help them out, but they turned out to be amazing. They didn't need help at all. They were great!

J-14: What was your very first reaction when they first stepped onto set?
Noah: It started when I pulled up to work. I was like, "Oh my gosh, there are all these screaming girls here." And I thought they were screaming for me, so I was like, "Hey girls, what's up?" And I realized that Harry had pulled in behind me. But I don't really get nervous around celebrities. Although my sister was on set that day and she screamed, freaked out, and ran over. That was pretty hilarious.
