Joining Nick in the star-studded show were High School Musical's Corbin Bleu as Seaweed Stubbs, actor John Stamos as Corny Collins, and American Idol alum Diana DeGarmo as Penny Pingleton.

Hairspray marks the second return to Nick's theater roots in the past year -- he starred as Marius in Les Miserables in London last summer.

Nick Jonas has a new fan! While playing a show at the opening of the new Microsoft store in L.A., Nick busted out a cover of Lady Gaga's tune "The Edge of Glory," which caught Lady Gaga's attention!

Impressed, Laday Gaga took to Twitter and wrote, "Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory. On my way to press conference in Taichung, listening to it. So dreamy! X." Nick showed the love back and wrote, "The pleasure is all mine. That is a beautiful song. Keep inspiring the world."

18-year-old Nick and 26-year-old Delta -- who's a famous singer in her home country of Australia -- met while working on music in Nick's "beat lab" studio and have been quietly dating for over a month.

Although they were previously seen holding hands and took a trip to Bali together for a songwriting camp earlier this month, the airport kiss marks their first public display of affection.

J-14 hung out in New York City this morning with Nick Jonas, who was there to promote Quaker Chewy Superstar Search, a singing competition where the winner will receive a song produced by Nick, an online music video, a contract with Jonas Group Management, and $5,000 in cash.

"I think we're looking for an all around artist," Nick tells J-14. "Someone that really has a voice and that wants to share their music with the world. Part of the really interesting thing about this competition is the fact that they have a list of songs to choose from, however, they can make them their own. They can show us what their voice sounds like and it doesn't have to sound exactly like the artist that did it originally. They can make it their own and make it something special."

Nick also dished to J-14 four things his fans may not know about him -- and since his fans know him so well, he struggled to think of some!

Not even two months after Nick Jonas Tweeted that he is single, the singer was spotted holding hand with Australian singer Delta Goodrem on May 15 as they were leaving Arclight Cinema in L.A., where they saw Bridesmaids. Delta was in town for her performance on last week's Dancing with the Stars results show.

So how did the Nick and Delta meet? Nick, who's been spending a lot of time in the studio, aka his "beat lab," working with other artists like Greyson Chance and Jasmine V, did a song with Delta in the beginning of March. Delta even Tweeted a picture of them with Ocean Grove's Greg Garbowsky in the studio:

"Loved creating with the incredibly talented @nickjonas and @greggarbo x" Delta said.

Delta, who is eight years older than Nick, called it quits with her fiancé, Westlife singer Brian McFadden, in April.
