Taylor Swift won in a big way at this year's American Music Awards -- the singer was named Artist of the Year for the second time! "This is the craziest thing that has ever happened to me!" she said. "Fans, please never change. I can't believe this is happening to me!" She also won Best Female Artist (County) and Best Country Album (Speak Now).

Nicki Minaj also took home multiple awards -- she won Best Rap/Hip Hop Artist and Best Rap/Hip Hop Album for Pink Friday. (Nicki even thanked Taylor in her speech for helping making "Super Bass" a hit!)

Katy Perry was recognized with a special achievement award for being the first female artist to have five number one singles from one album, Teenage Dream.

Although Justin Bieber didn't win Best Male Pop Artist, he had no hard feelings. He even took to Twitter to congrate all his friends. "Happy for my dude @brunomars - couldnt have gone to a better guy. well deserved. and @taylorswift13 and @NiCKiMiNaj CONGRATS Ladies!" he Tweeted.

The 2011 American Music Award nominations have officially been announced -- and "Someone Like You" singer Adele is in the lead with four nominations! Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, and The Band Perry aren't far behind -- they're all tied at three nominations each.

"Just got word of the American Music Awards noms!" Taylor Tweeted. "Artist of the year, Favorite Country Album, Favorite Country Female! This day is so awesome!!"
